Atlanta, GA – October 25, 2007 – Avenue A | RazorfishTM, one of the largest interactive services firms in the world, today announced the appointment of Melissa Richter as a senior account planner in its Atlanta office. “Melissa has extensive experience developing branding initiatives and will be a tremendous asset to our office,” said Shannon Denton, general manager for the Southeast region and senior vice president of Integrated Digital Marketing.
As a senior account planner, Melissa Richter is responsible for overseeing client needs in the development of brand positioning and strategic direction, in coordination with the account services and creative departments. Richter is a RIVA (Research In Values and Attitudes) trained focus group moderator and has experience teaching strategy at the Creative Circus in Atlanta. Prior to joining Avenue A | Razorfish, she was a senior brand planner at Fitzgerald + CO/McCann Erickson, where she led, executed and implemented research aiding in consumer insight gathering and strategic positioning, which included focus group moderating, customer segmentation, pricing, naming, packaging evaluation and needs gap analysis. A resident of Atlanta, Richter is an active member of the Junior League of Atlanta, Hands on Atlanta, Anti-Prejudice Consortium, and the Georgia Women’s Soccer Association. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College.
